Time can be a blessing and a curse. In my case it was the perfect panacea to realise an ambition to write. Unexpected downtime gave my vocation room to flex and in 2021, I was shortlisted with my first screenplay in the NYC Midnight Screenwriting Competition.

This was the catalyst to self belief, and a ‘write for myself and the pure joy of the process’ that has become a dedicated practice.
